Green Canary Day 2005

On Tuesday 27th September 2005, Canary Wharf Group held its fourth Green Canary Day in conjunction with the good going campaign, a Greater London Authority initiative. This year’s theme is sustainable travel. The estate has been designed to maximise the benefits of the public transport network and CWG remains the only private property developer to have made a substantial contribution to the provision of public transport. The aim of the day was to encourage visitors to favour public transport over private means of travel.
