BIE Index
The Group has participated in Business in the Community’s Environmental Index (‘BIE’) benchmarking scheme since 2002.
Business in the Community is a unique movement of over 750 companies with a further 2000 companies who take part in its programmes and campaigns. The BIE is a voluntary exercise to measure environmental performance and spotlight areas for improvement. Participants are benchmarked against their sector peers and all companies who have participated in the index. Companies are measured on their environmental management and performance in key impact areas.
